I tried pulling the gauge cluster out of the dash last night, but the speedo cable speedo cable seems to be stopping me from pulling the plastic panel out. How do I unscrew the cable. My hand would not fit under the gauge cluster. I have already unscrewed the fasteners off the plastic panel, removed the 3 bolts that hold the steering column up. Do I have to remove the vent duct to depopulate the underside of gauge cluster to get my hand in there? Is there a trick to this? My ultimate goal was to change instrument bulbs and check for ground connections.
