Well you asked for thoughts.
Mine is:
If you have a bunch of money and you are playing with three or four engines just for fun, then why not try it and see what it's like;
If you have one car and want a good reliable engine with lots of torque and sound great, build it the way Pontiac did.
Just my thoughts, I've been wrong more than once.
