Wow, that is pretty cool if it's the real deal. He may be legit- I would request a personal inspection before buying, and get him to sign a notarized document stating that upon successful bidding, if the car is not a legit TA, and that it is not # match that the transaction is void.
There is someone on the site who can give this car a total inspection for a fee and verify it, he knows his s#!t when it comes to the numbers that are supposed to be there. If anyone is serious, let me know and i will give you his contact info.
