I just bought one last weekend at the swap meet for $20, in "nice condition". I don't know maybe I'm just living in the past again. My wife tells me it happens. Like I seem to think a pair of jeans shouldn't cost $300. Am I really that far out of touch??
A few comments to stir the pot... 1. You live in a whole different world out in CA. Parts for these old cars dried up about 20 years ago in the Midwest. I could hit 40 swap meets up here and see one single fgf part. THis is one of the main reasons I try to get out there once or twice a year. 2. You have to have the time to actually attend a swap meet. Paying by PayPal and having it shipped to your door saves a lot of time and hassle. (plus it may complete the one part you need right away, verses spending three more summers attending swap meets "hoping" to find what you need. (see item 1). 3. I always try to help fgf members here first before throwing something on Epay, but some days I get the urge to purge xtra parts. Too much stuff sitting around here. Some from back in the '80's.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
