One thing that makes a difference is American Modern has roadside assistance built in which provides 200 for each occurrence for road side assistance and towing. You seem to have to increase Hagertys to the High-Octane Plan
When I do, American Modern is 359.00 vs Hagerty 514.00 with both 0 deductible.
If I just choose Hagerty standard Roadside Service it is 419.00 .
Maybe the included roadside assistance is a bonus for American modern but they do not compare apples for apples. American Modern is Max $200 for tow and Haggerty High-Octane Plan is max 150 miles. I don't know how that compares.
Both allows you to choose mileage driven and how you want to drive it.
Yes, my prices included the 'free' roadside assistance and towing. And keep in mind the $769 is for four cars' coverage. So about $192 per car. Seems cheap when you look at it that way.
