It's a direct bolt in but you must use the correct ignition switch for a 69 Pontiac with tilt,the part number ends with 093. The wire harness plugs will have to be twisted 1/2 turn so they can be plugged in. You should also get the Pontiac style levers to look correct. I've done the swap many times.
