I just measured mine:
From the bottom of the cap to the oil level is 14-1/8". I changed oil last summer so I could be down 1/8";
From the bottom of the cap to the full mark is 14-1/8";
From the bottom of the cap to the add mark is 14-13/16";
From the bottom of the cap to the tip of the stick is 17-1/8".
