That rests on you and your resto. I think it looks tuff as nails but opinions can differ. If you want to play it safe you can always have the tail inset vinyl wrapped. The technology of wrapping today makes it precise so it won't look hacked up. If you don't like the look all you have to do is remove rear badges and vinyl.
