I purchased a '68 Firebird fixer upper that the previous owner had started converting to a Camaro. The rear light panel and the entire front panels were all swapped for Camaro parts. I have decided to continue with the change as it is the cheaper way to go I think. Someday I hope to convert it back to a Firebird. I bought a Camaro bumper and the mounting brackets. They will arrive next week. The question I have is whether the Firebird frame will have the correct holes to match the brackets or if I will need to position the brackets and drill new holes in the frame? If the latter is correct, any idea how to know where to locate the brackets?
I hope I get some good answers to this and not some angry posts about my lack of trueness to the Firebird iny car. My motivation is to get something finished that my son and I can enjoy without breaking the bank.
