The e-bay "kit" contains the rebuild parts (bearings/bolts) new ring & pinion and a new Eaton posi unit.
You cannot upgrade to a 3.55 ring gear with the OEM 8.2 BOP small gear carrier without changing it out or getting a spacer. The 3.55 ring gear will not physically fit in the housing.
