The popper wire pink runs down the passenger side of the car, the switch is connected into the orange wire that also runs your glove box light ( hot all the time) , you can get the switch at ames ,I picked up a momentary push button at Home depot in the doorbell department while I was waiting for the back ordered part, and no it does not ring when pushed.
