Same here the front carpet was just a bit too long. I put studs in the bolt holes & used nuts on top of the seat brackets. Made it a lot easier than trying to find the right spot to cut the carpet ( over the bolt hole) I remembered this trick from my youth, at least one good thing about being old enough to remember these cars when they were new LOL.
