In the old days, it used to work great, told you what everything meant on the code plate. As the decades pass, there have been multiple site crashes, with the code-plate deal being one of the items that has been a permanent tank. It's a shame because it was an incredible asset. Technology is supposed to get better. With computers, not so. For instance, win10 is a downgrade. Wind the clock back a few versions. Win 95 with its “you have performed an illegal operation†was a superior os, than win10.
You have to give Geoff (the owner) credit where due. Through the years, has worked his [censored] off, trying to restore some of the lost features. I think he has gone as far as paying IT experts, as an attempt to fix certain features. If that was the case, a no-dice-return on the spent money would piss anyone off! This site is his pride and joy, it's his baby, he takes it personal. But some things are just the way it is. You probably know the drill.
Woven, I'm only a half-step in front of you, LOR versus LOS, and that pretty much covers my knowledge on code plates.
I also know: double numbers are for upper and lower colors, and vinyl/vert have a different numbers for upper. I think the first group is lower, and second group is upper, but there I go thinking again. I don't know all of the paint codes of if letters are included for vinyl/vert.
Question: is 11B on the code plate where my 72 72 is? At least it's a start.
