correct storing...someone knows! when I bought a used 400 hood from Canada, the shipper stood it up in the box on its rear corner, as when it arrioved in Texas after that 'ride', were completely missing! 1.5 inches gone, both sides....had to weld in a piece of metal then bondo shape around those to get back to what it was supposed to look like....bouncing up an down in a truck on rear corners for close to 2,000 miles, not a good idea.
I had a trunk lid shipped and they must have tossed it like a spear to bend up the corner. But most shipments were good.
