I am currently building a 400 for my '68 convertible.. this has been an interesting build as I had to start, quite literally, from scratch... the car came with a Chev350 in it when i aquired it a number of years ago. I was able to locate a 400 block/crank and have been building this up with all new parts mostly purchased through Butler. Now that the shortblock is together I am starting to look forward to the next few steps, and realized I don't have any of the assessory brackets yet.
My block is a 1974 block (not sure what it was out of)... my heads are 1968 date coded #16s. My car was an original AC car, and at some point I would love to put that together as well, but that is down the road.
For now I am curious which brackets I am going to need given my block/head combination? Anything particular to watch out for?
