Update! I discovered pete67400 fantastic post on 1967 Air Conditioning. Thanks to his detailed post I was able to disassemble the distribution ducts and extract the factory radio. Although it wasn’t without a couple of unavoidable issues. I need to purchase new 2 3/4” a/c flex hose to the right side vent and a new glovebox. The glovebox was due to frustration and I ended up physically removing it. I’m not sure how to install a new one when I get it.
