I bought a new tank for my 69 and it does not have the vent tube attached like the old one. I am planning to remove the old tube from the old tank, and affix it to the new tank. Just wondering if anyone has done this and how they did it. Brazed, or welded, soldered???
It's a big pain in the arce, but I am not overly excited to change to a vented cap as I don't know if they vent both ways (vacuum and pressure)?
