Fellow First Gen Firebird owners,

I need your help determining the original type and size of the tires that my Firebird came from the factory. Did the Firebird originally have White or Red stripes and what was the tire size? What that tire size convert into today’s numbers? Please offer any suggestions that you have on what my next set of tires should be. Many thanks!

Per the PHS documents (picture 1), the price sticker invoice says “E70X14 WSW Nylon”.

However, under the options in groups and accessories (picture 3), 33/5 says “E70X14 Red stripe wide oval tires.” Then under 71/72 it shows HD, which says “E70X14 White Stripe Oval.”

On picture 4, is has unintelligible writing next to the size “8.85X14.”
