When checking things out before first start up this spring I noticed a small amount of coolant had formed on the edge of the gasket along the water pump, along the block on the top. A soaked it up with a rag and it slowly reformed but wasn't leaking, meaning that nothing was dripping or forming a puddle under the car. The car fired right up and ran great! Score one victory. The small leak along the gasket stayed there but didn't seem to get any worse even when the car was good and hot after a good ride. It wasn't spraying. Just a little wet.
