I bought a new speedometer cable in case it was the issue, but currently when on the road the speedo does not register. I removed the cable and turned the speedo by hand and it appears to move. I tried to turn the cable while attached to the transmission when in gear and it did not turn. i then removed cable from transmission and turned the cable from under car while detached from speedo and it turned, Im guessing there is no break in the cable. the only other test i was going to try was reattach cable to trans, take a ride and see if the cable is turning. any other ideas?
