Hey everyone - sorry, but I’m trying to wrap up a couple things before I’m away from my car for a few months and I’ve only got a couple hours tomorrow to do them.
I’m really confused about mounting the door panel on the driver’s side. This is the original panel with a deluxe interior. (I’ll be replacing them eventually, but for now it’s not a priority).
For some reason it will not mount properly to the door, However I try to mount it it slides up, comes loose from he door along the top edge, and then sits too high. Then of course it catches when the door is opened.
Is there some trick that I don’t know about? Or can anyone thing of why this might be happening? It’s as if the panel is mis-shaped (although it’s original) or the mounting holes in the door are incorrect and so is the window crank.
