I acquired a '69 Firebird with XB 149568 block, casting number is 9790079, partial VIN block# 29L105349, heads cast# 62 (K278). My dashboard and cowel VIN# are the same, but is 768 apart from the block. The speedometer is for 160mph and is a 3-speed automatic. Did factory High Output engines match body VIN? The intake is cast with "Edelbrock Pontiac", and the headers are Hooker.
