FYI: My pump gas, roller cam 455 (462) , with an OEM rotating assembly, but Edelbrock heads, plain Performer (not RPM) intake, and a E-brock 1901 Q-jet replacement carb made 489 hp on the dyno.
Yeah, a roller cam & alum heads make a big difference !
And your 750 Q-jet had no problem making that 489hp. Wonder how much more it would have made with a box stock Holley spreadbore ?
If I had LOTS of money, I'd even buy one for you & pay for your dyno time, to see how much difference it would make.
And, if they're that great, I'd also buy one for my car, which now has a 1904 E-Q-jet on it, & see how much ET difference it would make.
AND, if they're really that much better, I'd post that info on all the Pontiac forums & FB pages.
