I'll be curious what you find out. All long tubes seem to be too low for my ground clearance and just about touch my steering box anyway, making it VERY hot even with a heat blanket shoved in there between them.
Running shorites will save me from paying for a custom set of headers. I wish they were a 2" primary tho (or close to it) for very modified Pontiac engines.
