69 fb not firing after sitting for 1 rainy week

I have a 69 fb auto 4 barrel 350 convertible
If it has been sitting for a week or more in rainy weather it will turn over but not fire

To get it started I have to jumper between the coil positive and the battery positive and
It will then start immediately after turning the key
