The one with the arrow I was able to unscrew, the one circled was already pounded down into the trans tunnel and I couldn't salvage that. I had to pop it out and weld a patch in there.
Thanks for all the info. I did find one more awesome surprise... They used body caulk to hold in the driver's side floor pan. I had to weld that up. And I found a nice rust hole where water was accumulating over the years, so I cut that out and welded a new piece of steel in there. It's a good thing this will all be hidden because it's not pretty! Can't wait to get the new carpet in. My list is getting short, and I hope to have my engine back in a few weeks from the rebuild.
