My old turn signal switch did not have a light bulb when I removed it. I installed a 1445 bulb and it does not fit. Wrong bulb, turn signal switch?
One of your old posts shows a console. Do you actually have a floor shift ? The light in the steering column is needed for a column shift car to light up the shift/gear indicator on the column. If I recall, when I replaced my turn signal switch a few decades ago there were originally several different switch types based on whether the car was manual vs automatic, tilt verses non-tilt, column shift verses floor shift. You need to research the different types available today. I also remember that I had to use an adapter to convert a curved harness connector to a straight harness connector because the available switches.
