What is a good product(s) and process to use on an original trunk with some dirt, rust, old POR, old spatter paint?

I've prepped it with wire brush, wire wheel drill, and stripping pads, but no way can I get everything off and in all the nooks and crannies to a consistent level.

Blasting is not an option and I don't mind spending some/many hours. I want the spatter paint to last.
