69 rear end with stock 3.23 gears and BOP safe-T-track unit. Code ZF. All original as far as I can tell. It was in my bird when I got it 20 years ago and it ran great for all that time. I went with a 67 traction bar setup in my bird.
The rear end housing was painted up nicely at some point before I got it and is rust free. It is just still a little grimy from use. There is a slight seepage from the front seal. I wouldn't worry about it but that could be replaced.
3.23 gears work fine with a manual trans and I think it is the perfect gear set for automatic. As far as I know you can't buy aftermarket BOP posi units or gear sets for anything numerically lower than 3.36. It would be an ideal rear end to put numerically lower gears in and keep the safe-T-trac if someone needed to go that way.
You can have the multi leaf springs for free. They should be fine and usable. They don't look original. The rear end sat at the perfect height with those springs.
