You see that clip that is on the steering shaft in front of the bearing. That has to come off. There is a tool that threads on the steering shaft that presses down on that whole assembly so you can remove the retaining clip. Maybe with an extra set of hands you can have someone press down on the bearing and you can get the clip out with a pick.
