Man, I learn something new every day here! So there was an noise insulation layer that no one makes. I guess something can be improvised if the noise is an issue. I remember my old '68 hardtop was very noisy if the rear seat back was not in place. It makes sense the convertible would act the same. Maybe some Dyna-mat glued to the backside of the well liner? I am no where near that stage but good to know in advance.
