Hi All~ Been a while since my last post. Been driving and enjoying finally! BUT~ My steering has always been too "easy". I have the original power steering gearbox Saginaw 800 (cast 5691676). it is so smooth and easy that you can literally steer with your fingertips. But I don't like that, especially at 65-70mph.
I want to change it out for a stiffer more responsive PS gearbox. I have found some info online, but I'm betting you guys have looked into this before, and I trust you "bird"brains much more than what's out there. Any suggestions?
'68 400HO Coupe, 4 spd, 259 interior, Windward Blue. My other car's a Johnson 15 outboard on a '61 Starcraft rowboat... Just sayin'.
