I know that the surface engaged by the clutch disc must be flat. But, as I mentioned, I saw a NEW flywheel for a '64 Pontiac that had that flat surface relieved a little lower than the rest of the flywheel. Just wondering if I buy a clutch kit for a '64 (cheaper than buying a new flywheel), than I'd be OK?
