Thanks to Johnny Mac's link, I discovered that there's two types of Oil Filter adapters.

OF-2, "Firebird " and OF-1, "Big Car" I really need to know - Do I buy the adapter based on what car the engine originally came out of -OR- what car the engine is going into?

Why do I want to know? My "new" replacement engine originally came out of a 69 Catalina (I assume a "big car") but it's going into a Firebird.
