Since I have not used any of the companies suggested in this forum or know of anyone which has, my recommendations when researching or looking for a good body shop:
1. Contact the company asking for references and experience with the First Generation Firebird.
2. Ask them who they get their parts from and who they contact for the hard to find parts.
3. Contact local car clubs to see if they have any recommendations or experience with the body shop you are researching.
4. Find out what type of paint they are going to use, application process, and color matching process.
5. Bring a list of questions you have for them and what you think should be done.
This is not an all inclusive list but should be a start for you. I wish I had the knowledge I do now before I choose my body shop.
Hope this helps - Geoff
