Kel, Thanks for the diagram, but I'm still not 100% clear. My wire colors do not match the diagram. Not sure if this has been "repaired" in the past or not.
Mine has total of 5 wires coming off the fan speed switch. From top to bottom: 2 Yellow (I think high speed setting) 1 Orange, 1 Brown and 1 Blue.
This all goes under the dash and just before the firewall, splits off 2 wires to plug into solenoid to open/close flap in the heater box. The rest goes thru the firewall clean.
I did find a "heater blower resistor" that is supposed to mount on top of the heater box at Rick's Camaro, but it is only for non-a/c cars. My heater box does not appear to have any mounting points missing.
Do you know if the Resistor Block was located under the dash/on heater box or in the engine bay? I wonder if I can make the non a/c resistor work?
