Welcome to the FGF board! First, this question would be better posted in the tech section, but to answer your question, yes you can weld the louvre panels into your quarters. Post a request in the Parts Wanted section and I'm sure someone will offer up a good used section cut out from original quarters. I sold a set myself to someone about a year ago for about $30.
