This is more of an informational post than anything else. The short story is that I was restoring the headlight bucket assemblies on my 1969 and I had previously obtained 3 NOS of the needed 8 adjustment screws. So, I ordered 5 more from Ames as they had some listed as GM. When I received them, they were markedly different and stamped "China". After calling them, I found out that they ran out of GM ones so sent Repros instead. They credited back my account and things are fine with them. So, this is not a post bashing Ames. I recently found 5 more NOS ones and have completed things. But I do have pictures and descriptions of the differences for those interested in the link in my signature. An example:
The bottom line is that the NOS parts installed and worked much better. I guess that it is not a complete surprise. The reproductions will function okay but they are not as nice. Just an FYI in what you getting.
