Okay here is my problem. I bought a delco r59 repro 3 or 4 yrs ago. I use it 6 mnths then put it on a trickle charger in the winter,and its always been dependable. Until now. I always check the water level but when I got it out this spring one of the cells was very low on water. The battery will take a charge and be dead by morning. As these are very expensive I and original I would like to save it.Is it feasible to empty the battery like it was when I got it,refill it and start over? Also if it is I cant remember how much acid I put in before I topped it off with water. Any help would be appreciated!!
