I installed the new fuel pump and it doesn't fill the fuel filter up very much maybe just under the filters edge when sitting horizontally ,it is a rather large clear filter about the size of a 50 cent piece around and maybe 3 inches long it doesn't seem to be pumping much gas into it though ? Should I be getting more gas than that in the filter or is the filter to big,I recall some of the older big block pontiacs have had larger steel filters. Maybe I have a clogged fuel line from the gas tank? And would this make the engine pop a bit like it's sucking in air from the exhaust or intake manifold? A bit of help would be appreciated. Thanks
