Just took mine off. There are 4 nuts under the dash that have to come off. It is best to remove glove boc, instrument panel and radio/ashtray/AC vent. Once these 4 nuts are removed, the pad comes off easily. Also, there is a post on the front sides that snaps into place. Pops right out.
