I always miss the fireworks too. Just figured that it was that time of the year. I am spending too much time actually working on projects to be here every night. I figure with the "bad ones", they are just fishing. If you nibble, they're gonna try to hook ya. If you look at their posts and fail to respond to stirring, baiting etc. they will stop trying to bait you. Every response, no matter what the tone, will fuel their ego and they will continue to escalate it.
I agree with Banshee as to limiting the punishment to the offenders, but we are guests on Geoff's site. His way or the highway.
