since I doubt people go back and read stuff abv their post I`ll 'redo' my "edit" in my post :

In Ames cat. they show a FR576K a 'walnut' 4 spd shift knob for a 69 being a reproduction for $33.00 and states :"this reproduction knob is not exact but is very similar to original", "very good value for its price"...shifter pattern piece looks just like this , but 'wood' looks slightly different( maybe the pic?)....so if Ames is correct , it should be for 69?
