I stopped their yesterday on my way back from Chicago picking up the NOS quarter panels for my car. (That was a whole fiasco trip in itself. I blew a brake line on the highway doing 60 just outside Chicago at 4:00 in the afternoon. Didn't hit anyone or anything though through shear luck. Took an extra day to make it back to town and $550 for the repairs, tow and hotel for the night.)
I didn't have my computer, so I didn't get a chance to see if anyone else here was going. If you saw someone wandering around with a sign on his back showing a red 68 quarter section of a car for sale, that was me.
Their were a few nice examples of first gens their, but many of them were modified a bit.
I don't know if you saw the guy with a really nice red 1968 firebird convertable in the show area. He was on his way to the show on the Ohio turnpike and had a rear passenger side belt break free. It slapped around and put a huge dent into his quarter. It was very sad to see.
I found a few parts for my car in really nice condition and some NOS stuff. Reasonable prices too. I bought a couple of items to list on Ebay to try and make up for some of $$$ losses in the past few day/ weeks.
Their were a couple for sale as well. A recently not so nicely redone 67 in green for 25K, a couple of complete basket cases with no price on them. I took a bunch of pictures, but I don't have the time today to go through them and upload somewhere. Maybe later this week. Let me know what you saw and liked.
