Any one Located near the Detriot Michigan area, and interested in Drag Racing, The Royal Pontiac Club's anual Club Invitational drag race is Saterday May 21st 8:30 am to 1:00 pm at Milan Drag Way in Milan Mi. Cost is $40.00 for car & driver $5.00 for spectators over 12 years of age. It is usually set up in 3 Brackets
1 - 11.99 sec's & faster
2 - 12.00 - 13.99
3 - 14.00 sec's & slower
There will be Trophies for 1st & 2nd place in each bracket, Along with a King of the hill trophy for the winner of the runoff between bracket winners. Also prize money will be awarded, amount dependant on number of entries. So the more cars that race the higher the awards!! The racing is set up Pontiacs against other makes. Normal IHRA safety rules apply. We rent the track for the event so you won't be waiting for the tracks normal scedual to run before you do. (and you can stay and run the tracks normal saterday event, you just have to pay the normal track entrance fee). All cars & trucks are welcome, we have been doing this for 8 years now and usually have around 100 cars show. It is always a great time!!!!! More infor on the track at
