If I want a decent paint job on my '69 and a paint job that will last at least 10 years, what would be a fair price to pay?

I know Macco (a production shop)will paint the car for $600.00 and give me only a 2 year warranty. But, I'm willing to spend a few more dollars to get a good quality job. I can remove most of the trim myself (saving some labor costs)

If you have had recent experience in painting your Bird, then I'd appreciate some feedback on cost and what should they do to prepare the body for painting?

Also, if any of you guys are in Orange County, California, perhaps you could recommend someone to do the job? Thanks for any help you can give.
