I didn't say that they were. I said that the guy used a different ID to ask himself a question through the eBay system. That's the only way it gets posted at the bottom like that. If you follow me on that then you can see that it's possible that he could also bid with the ID he asked the question with.
I agree with Brett that most auctions are just as crooked as that. My point really was that the car may not sell if any or all of the bids are not good, serious bids. That was where I came up with the idea of contacting the seller after the auction with a $1000 offer. He may be sitting there without a buyer at all and just want to get rid of it. The market is a little tight right now.
