My son loves El Caminos. Mama doesn't though and they have pretty limited traction in the winter around here. We were looking almost exclusively at late model GP coupes. They are safe, not too expensive to buy or insure, and cool enough that the kid can be proud of what he's driving. He'll take better care of it then.
The GP only has 34,000 miles on it now, and we're trying to prevent cancer by coating the pinch welds with POR-15, and coating the inside of the door panels with 711 spray. Johnny was under the car for hours yesterday.
There are sooo many GP websites and modifications for these cars. We broke the bank with the purchase of the car though and all of that will have to wait.
