I saw some snow in Dallas. Barely a dusting, they called it an inch, but just like in MD, TX tries to get as much mileage as they can from a flake of snow. Ice storms, on the other hand, can be pretty nasty. I saw a few ice storms, I do recall 2 of them one with 4" of ice and the other with 6". The problem is that they don't have/use road salt in Dallas. Maybe the panhandle may use but Dallas doesn't.

Onr thing that can be predicted about TX weather: Between Sept/May if I can do it in Canada, it can do it in TX.
