1) why I said 302 is because its skinnier than the Pontiac engine (and Chevy) fits easier...

2) if you look , you probably have the double hood springs...thats the ones that fit inside the Firebird hood sprrings to maka a Viagra hood ,IF your pontiac springs are sloppy!

and 3) squeeky brakes...usually if you drive it and hit the brakes HARD a few times ,that tends to go away....its brake dust


plus 4) if you install a Radio, you wont hear the squeeks and noisy stuff! LOL
